Player of the Day

This will probably be my last blog with pics for a while, as I'm off on my travels on Monday, & I think it will be easier on the wallet to blog via email most of the time. Lucy had her first soccer game of the season today. The weather was great & the team played well against Edgecumbe. Our girls weren't the victors this time - mainly through lack of fitness Id say. However, Lucy played well in the No 12 jersey, & was outstanding as goalie in the second half. She was awarded Player of the Day for her efforts.
I'm counting down for my trip & making adjustments to my itinerary. The Battle of Crete commemorations have been unexpectedly split between two weekends this time, which has caused major problems for the Brit contingent. I'm just lucky that I'll still be on Crete for the Galatas events - particularly important for Kiwis. Check Picasa for extra pics
