I didn't mean to!

Tama the possum killer just after he'd bowled me over in the bush. He usually swerves at the last minute, but this time he didn't. Maybe no dancing the New Year in for me tonight!

Solved two problems

Finally discovered how to activate edit mode, plus was able to delete the second pic & some of the squiggly bits in previous post. But would like to know how to edit pics in the Picasa web album! I also can't find any evidence of Sam's blog that I added!!!

Found the ball in Grandma's garden

Another Fabulous Day in Paradise

A sunny, breezy day with tui in the pohutakawas. Decided to go into town for a few essentials. Checked out the Quota book fair, but found nothing this time. Shouted myself a long black in 2 Fish after checking the latest edition of Lonely Planet at the library re costs for Naxos. It was a good opportunity to try out a few plans. Decided on Plan C at the moment, but who knows if it will be the one. Also decided to think seriously about the cooking course for next term. Must have been meant to be, because in Paper Plus a fabulous cook book "Taking Tea in the Medina" screamed out to me: "Buy Me, Buy Me!" Well, what else could I do? As a bonus there were 5 bonus Fly Buy points to go towards my domestic flight next year. That chat with Mary Bettleheim earlier re cook books & Moroccan trips surely had something to do with it.
Wish I could find out how to add pics to these posts. I've tried a couple of times & I end up with 2 copies of the same pic.

First Blog

Well, if you can't beat 'em - join 'em. It seems as if this is the only way I'm able to communicate with the neighbours lately. The usual reply to a question to Maurie is: "Haven't you checked my blog yet!" Now I'll be able to say the same to him.
We had a perfect low key Xmas Day with Maurie, Leigh, Thomas, Sam, Lucy, Janine & Phillip, & later on Lucy's best mate Waitapu. Then on Boxing Day Kerry & Tawhai came up from Potaka. It was great to have some relaxing time together with our awesome grandchildren.
